Did I miss something?

I've been on the I-75 corridor between Toledo and Detroit the last 2 days and noticed something strange.

As you know this section of highway is loaded with Daimler Chrysler t/t's,and I saw several of the trailers with the Daimler name removed. What gives?

Daimler sold Chrysler to an investment group called Cerberus last spring.

WOW,I didn't recall hearing about that. That is alot of trailers they are going to have to deletter.

I also thought last contract DC wanted to privatize thier trucks....like get rid of thier drivers...it sure would trim down thier payroll....

I wouldn't really want them to get rid of their drivers,but they ought to retrain them.

Those guys drive way too fast for conditions.Like on the approaches to the Ambassador bridge,and yesterday on I-75 with 6-8" of snow on the ground.
