Tony Blair and George W Bush should be taken to the International Criminal Court in The Hague over the Iraq war, Archbishop Desmond Tutu has said.

Writing in the UK's Observer newspaper, he accused the former leaders of lying about weapons of mass destruction.

The Iraq military campaign had made the world more unstable "than any other conflict in history", he said.

Tutu is a Marxist, anti-American and anti-West, what else would one expect from him? Notice, he is NOT going after his soul mate, Obama, for bombing Libya or expanding the fighting in Afghanistan. He would say nothing if, or when, Obama moves on Syria either. Not news. Just more of the same. It is an election year here, the Marxist in office is facing a tough fight, expect to see other Marxists do their best to support him by trying to change the focus.

As far as the US, you are going to have to sue all of Congress for authorizing the war. Just like Bush, they were operating with faulty intelligence information.

No, they were NOT operating with faulty intelligence. Those weapons existed and likely still do. It as long been known that the WMD's that were in Iraq were being moved out. Syria was the main place that it was suspected the majority were moved too. IF those weapons that Syria was recently taking about using are captured I believe that many people's reputations will be salvaged. That is, IF the media has that guts to admit they were wrong.

The movement into Syria has been posted about in here, for quite a while. It is also known that the media has under reported the numbers and types of WMD's that WERE captured in Iraq. The press has NO interest in reporting reality.

But there lies the crux of the matter .... were they given false intel?

The argument (in UK at least) goes ..... that US & UK were in cahoots just to topple saddam, and they were going to do it regardless.

The press in the UK is no better than the press here. They were working with GOOD solid intelligence.

One of Saddam's generals admitted that they had moved the weapons.

Tutu is just another Marxist trying to help Obama get reelected. Same with the media in this country.

They waited too long. As for the Tutu thing, it won't go anywhere. Obama won't want anything to do with it. Then Hillary Clinton was a senator that voted for the war and is now SOS. He isn't going to want to go there.

It had. They had been moving them since the end of the first Gulf War. The only things that they were not sure of is exactly how many had been moved or to where.

The general consensus was that they were moved into Syria. That may still be proven out. It was being reported on the news in the past month, although the reporting stopped within a day or so, that it was likely that the weapons in Syria where those that were in Iraq at one time.

Also the 500 metric tons of "yellow cake" that was SO widely reported on, as 'bad intell' was found AND removed by the U.S. Military. Search back posts on this and you will find the reporting on that find here. It was buried in the back pages of the papers. The news also did not report on how many warheads WERE found in Iraq. There were lots found. Most found were older Soviet made warheads, a few from China and some local production under Soviet license.
