To all of those that oppose affordable care to all in this country, go jump in the HADRON COLLIDER and enjoy it. And keep whining, moaping, insulting, whatever it is that you do. Remember your cure: HADRON COLLIDER

Let's see how that thought works for you in a few years if those fools put this debacle through.

I want to know how can anyone believe that it will lower the deficit without understanding that it will raise the debt?

I just wonder who is going to pay for the difference in my premiums when they skyrocket in cost? Are those who pushed this going to cover it for me? What about when my HSA program is outlawed? How will that lower my health care costs? In fact, how can any off this lower costs?

My dearest pretend-to-be-philosoper I only have this log in, I have no desire to use more than one screen name, and I am sure the admins can verify I log in from home and from my laptop, still using the same screen name.

Good luck with therapy!

I really don't care who pays for it, it is long overdue. I'm tired of seeing sick people. And unlike you, I will wait to see the results before I complain, waaahhhhh, waaaahhhhhh, someone is taking my money for ....... waaaahhhhh, waaaahhhhh.....

That pretty much says it all. That's the PRO (Pelosi/Reid/Obama) position as well but it's really a CON job. They don't care who pays for it and we all will pay dearly for it as well as several if not all future generations.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama and House Democratic leaders struck a last-minute deal Sunday with abortion foes to secure the final few votes needed to remake America's health care system, writing a climactic chapter in a century-old quest for near universal coverage.

The House argued its way through a thicket of Republican objections toward an evening vote on the bill to extend coverage to 32 million Americans who lack it, ban insurers from denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions and cut deficits by an estimated $138 billion over a decade.

Hope this helps with your accounting!

138 billion over a decade is not a deficit reduction. That is eaten up ever 28 days or so right now by our overspending. Smoke and mirrors.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I am friends with all. I think people are great even when they disagree with me. But suggesting I may have more than one screen name does bother me a bit. Mischaracterizing the screen name I could care less about. None of you will figure that one out anyway, its an old joke.
Hope I do meet you one day down the road. You appear rather intelligent. Conversing with you would not be a waste of time.

There is no deficit reduction in any of this. There is nothing but higher costs, lower quality care and misery. The I told you so on this one will wind up being huge. This may be enough to bring the white feathers out.

Hmmmm! Making a pillow? That's such a nice thought. Maybe one of the newly qualified patients will make use of it. Thanks for your contribution to a great cause. And don't forget to submit the receipt for your feathers so you can get your tax deduction.

Obviously, David Espo nor you have actually read the CBO Report, where that $138 billion deficit cut is highly predicated on the most favorable economic growth figures, a perfect storm of good things happening over the next 10 years. Several scenarios are given, and the one with the $138 billion number is the one that might happen if everything perfectly falls into place. It is also the most unlikely scenario.
