If that is the case, why are they caving? They have no leverage and really at the same place they were Friday.

They elicited a commitment from McConnell to open debate on immigration. If 20 days from now that hasn't happened with significant progress, OR T continues to let the ultra right dictate policy, then the government will shut down tight and long.

I think it's kind of a ridiculous, almost wishful thinking kind of a point. Trump letting the ultra right dictate policy,? Yeah, right, 'cause Trump is famous for ceding power and giving up control and letting other people tell him what to do. <snort>
Ultra right dictate policy? The President is a Republican and the Republicans control the House and Senate. It's the RINOs who are afraid to align with Trump that are responsible.
Worthless damnocrats and RINO scum putting ILLEGALS ahead of citizens. They should all be stripped of their citizenship and given 72 hours to leave the country one way or another.
