As a DEF supplier if there is anybody that has questions or bulk needs, I can get it handled for you. Please remember for all those whom enter into California that you are responsible for your vehicle to meet California's CARB regulations. The fines I have seen handed out have been around the range of $500 per truck per day of non compliance.

If your truck is equipped with an SCR Catalyst and your DEF tank is empty then they show you as non compliant to regulations. Also be aware that DPF units on your truck are not supposed to emit smoke, or soot from the tailpipe. the inside of the tailpipe should be as clean as the outside of your well maintained rig. If it isn't they assume the DPF is broken, or missing, and push out citations. Remember the DPF is a service item and does need to be cleaned. The best interval is about 125,000miles to insure best fuel mileage, though different manufacturers have different suggestions.

I signed a new contract for a local state wide delivery deal last week and took delivery on a 2012 KW with a 24' box and lift gate. Paccar engine and Allison auto. Anyway filled with fuel today and put a little def in the tank. One thing I noticed def was 2.39 a gallon at the pump and 5.39 by the gallon inside. Big difference. It's new and ran it for a week with about 2,000 miles averaged 11.5 mpg. Not bad for new I was totally surprised. Thats with a single axle and 14k pounds of freight.
500 mpg for def. Not a real significant cost increase.

I might ad it does not have a sleeper. Strickly in state.

I stand corrected.

Actually, the word is "strictly." And on a similar note, there's no such word as "asterick;" the word is "asterisk."

Good grief! Is that spelled right? Sorry for the typo. As was stated before, get a life.
Where is Asterick at anyway?

It's a PacLease truck. I am now looking to sell two C/Vans and ad another TT with a Team. Customers growing so I guess we have to keep up. I will hold on to the C/Vans for awhile just to see what happens before I sell. Not sure. Seems like the market for Contract trucks and leasing drivers is a growing market.
My one account with this equipment is small loads and fast shipping. I can send a driver anywhere and not have to worry about logs or running time. Putting a TT and a Team on the load takes some planning.
