Driver
At home living pricariously through the driver in my van. I tried to sell the van but no one wanted a van with 320 thousand miles on it. So I guess I will be running it until the hubs fall off the thing. At least I'm giving a nice young driver an opportunity to make money and I'm well capitalizes to provide him with fuel and advances as needed. I guess my contribution to the world is to help another driver get up on his feet and support his family. I really hate the tiny profit margins for the drivers so I'm paying him a higher rate and taking a cut on my end because it is the right thing to do. I hope all of you guys are running like there is no tomorrow.

Yup I wanted to get out of the fleet business after I saw how hard it was for a driver to make money in the van but now that he is committed and I am committed, I am going to let him drive the van for as long as he likes and I may even offer him a lease to own deal.

The day you pay it off you ought to gift it to him, saying thanks for helping support me.
If he's a good guy, it could be a life changing event. And you'll feel good.

It's completely paid for now. But it is a 2004 and that is the problem. A lot of the bigger companies won't take a 2004 even though it has been well maintained. I may just give it to him at the end of the year. If I have to go on disability then I cannot make an income other than what little check they give me. Some days I get all excited and start doing as lot of work and 2 hours later the pain comes back and it is time to sit back down. I am so scared that if I get disability I will then get better or that if I do not apply for it I will get worse etc. Gotta see how it all plays out.

Living on Tulsa time...

Headed to Tulsa with a bunch of bus doors, rolling through the rain listening to some of the coolest all acoustic arrangements of traditional Christmas songs I've ever heard.

Wall Matthews. New to me, very cool
