Thought we were going home last night. But dispatch surprised us with a load to NC then one back to WI. Finishing our week with a bang. Kurt was sitting in Indy for 45 hours (1.5 hours from the house) was going to head home when he got one to kc. Woot! After these loads we are off for two weeks. A well deserved break after the year we have had. (All the repairs, the accident, medical and ins Crap!) If I don't talk to you before then hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We got a nice load to end the year also. Home now and getting ready to go to the cemetery and put the wreath we carried from Maine on the grill of the truck back to Illinois and place it on Tina's dad's grave. It has made a long and special journey and i couldn't think of a better place for it to end up !!!!!

Got the tracking number for the 2 sweatshirts, 1 denim button down, 1 new cap, and the all important pack of Load One scratch pads. I still can't hold a pen to write anything, but I can scratch. Yay!

Left the yard yesterday at 1130. Two loads later, got back to the yard at 2300. Worked out at $1.80 all miles.

To those that turned down the first load, my wallet thanks you. One load truly leads to the next.
