Ok, I found this rather funny.

Staying at the hotel Walmart in North Carolina. I just happen to have two Walmart pop bottles, so I thought I would return them for my deposit back.

Greeter: you can take that right over to customer service. (I had them in a bag)

Me: No, I'm looking for the bottle return area.

Greeter: you want to donate them?

Me: ?

Greeter: is it plastic? There is a bin over there for plastic.

I pull out a bottle to show her and tried to explain again. She asked another worker about my strange request. They looked at me like I had two heads.

Growing up recycling for bottle deposits for most of my life, it was a strange realization, that in 2016 everybody does not do it.

P.S.- I ended up "donating" them

Well Dec is starting off just as bad as Nov went. 2nd dry run in less then 2 weeks. 90 mile d/head pays 75 bones. 90 miles back to the house = another Payless payday. 3.25 hours burned off the log book already. Guess its time for some Ingress downtown Toledo before heading home for the day.

H there goes the neighborhoo, I'm officially a resident of maumee oh now! Hardest part was finding a good place to park the truck when home as drive is too shot!
