Currently at the Pilot in Orland, CA for the night since the pass is shut down on Mt. Shasta. Will try to get going up that way tomorrow afternoon.

That's a nice Pilot to hunker down. The snow is enough to deal with, if you encounter strong wind as well it'll surely be a memorable trip.

Did you also hit the Grapevine during the bad snowstorm recently? Is your current trip paid, relocation, or vacation?
A little of your rum might be a good thing.
