Can you buy a 3000 trailer(mobile home, manufactured home, or whatever they call them this year) and call it home and claim the per diem? Just curious
Only if it is your primary residence and your mailing address is at the park. The seasonal and year round residents at my favorite park use the on-site mailboxes assigned to their site rather than a PO box that would not qualify for Per Diem. Also you would only be able to use the actual time you are established in a location for the minimum required period. without looking it up I don't remember the exact minimum on that but you tax expert could tell you.
Be sure and throw in a PORTA GARDEN or two with the purchase of that coach! Makes ya look more permanent for tax purposes!
