I'm not a moderator here, I don't even play one on tv...however, I've observed some of your posts and I'm beginning to wonder just what your game is.

First, I take it from this post that the owner of this site does not know you nor are you a paying advertiser......

Re: Will you Step up?

Keeshond0622

Are you the one sending me the Tweets that I'm not supporting this effort? If so - you got it wrong.

If not - my apologies.

Incredulously, you had posted this earlier, as though you were merely an observing reporter to the tweet.....

This just came across Twitter ...

@GoTruckStop

For the next 3 hours ... GoTruckStop.com will donate 5% of ALL sales to the Get Jason's Law to GATS Fund.

So here's a way to help out ... if you are interested !!

Then, comes your admission of just who you really are....

Maybe you folks need to know exactly who I am.. not because I'm better than anyone ... but because I refuse to just sit around and do nothing.

My name is TJ Graff .. I own GoTruckStop.com. I'm not looking for praise ... but I was looking for my fellow drivers to help.
Now, I wouldn't normally have given you the time of day but something just didn't ring true here and judging from everyone else's reaction to you, I'd say I'm not alone in those observations.

I won't go into just how obnoxious you were in soliciting funds on the thread I've just quoted, that's evident to all.

My focus is on your FREE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN.......

HERE.....Dated 1/27/09....
Lets see, they claim to be an E-Bay power seller. I went to the ALK website to see if they are an Authorized Re-seller ... NOPE!!

And they are offering a price that is $25 more than a well known on-line store for the trucking industry.

Here's where I found a great deal ...

GoTruckStop
AND HERE.....Dated 1/30/09.......Now this one I find especially astounding AND amusing as you give YOURSELF a thumbs up and even include a quote from an email FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOU OWN!!! NICE TOUCH!!!

Re: GPS for truck routes

I had ordered my PC Miler Navigator 430 the other day from GoTruckStop.

Today, I received this e-mail from them.

I was surprised to get it, for sometimes in today's world the word "customer service" really means "no customer service".

Great job GoTruckStop ... and I really mean it.:cool:

So it looks like I should be getting my Navigator 430 in just a few days.

Quote:
I wanted to give you an update as of today, 1/30/09, regarding your PC Miler Navigator 430 order.

We have already started shipping orders(over 75 units).

I personally spoke with Dan Titus, VP of Sales for ALK (the manufacturer of the PC Miler Navigator 430)today. Product was shipped (over 1200 units) on 1/27/09 via FedEx LTL to our two distribution centers. We are simply awaiting the arrival of those units so that we can ship your order.

I personally thank you for your patience and it should simply be just a few days before you receive your order.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding in this matter.

HERE..Dated 2/03/09....You give YOURSELF a pat on the back for customer service!!!

Re: GPS for truck routes

Hey everybody, got my PC Miler Navigator today from GoTruckStop.com.

Now that's customer service !!

I'll let everyone know how it works out. I know some folks had some issues with the early ones. I heard that ALK got the kinks worked out.
Here, one day later.....

I'm real happy with my PC Miler Navigator so far. But I've only had for a day.

I'll keep everyone posted.

As far as you touting this e-bay seller.

I'm not sure if you are the e-bay seller yourself or not , I got my Navigator from GoTruckStop.com

But I checked them to see if they are carrying the new WorldNav 5100 that you are touting.

And here's what I found ...

Same day.....

Re: heated wiper blades

I mainly run out west, mostly warm weather but when it snow ... man it snows.

A few week ago when I was up in Seattle I ran into a driver that had a set of these. He said it used radiant heat and kept his blade area warm enough to keep the blades from freezing.

Northwind Wiper Heater
Again...2/17/09 on that PC Miler....you're really pushing that thing, must have been a good profit on that unit.

Re: Seller says it's the best Truck GPS

Guys sorry its been so long since I posted.

I wanted to get back to everyone about the PC Miler Nav 430.

I've had it for a few weeks now and honestly ... its pretty good.

It took getting used to it.

But all in all. in my opinion... its pretty good for the $300 is spent at GoTruckStop

The screen is just right. Its fits right where I want it. And the battery charge gives me a full day of use.

So whatever you have heard, mine beens working well
Still on that GPS.....4/23/09...Man you're like a dog on a bone!!!

Re: Gps units

I've had the PC Miler Nav 430 for about 2 months now. I really like it. It took a while to get to learn all the different features.

But now that I have it set up right ... its great !!

Now I see the Garmin Nuvi 465t will be available in about 5 weeks at GoTruckStop.com.

I have a freind that likes my Nav 430 ... I just might sell it to him and get the new Garmin.
And just a few hours later.....Available in a few weeks...Ha!..I'm glad you got your order in early too, would have been kinda tacky had you been late to your own sale!!

Re: Gps units

well, I went and did it ...

I went to GoTruckStop.com and ordered a Garmin 465t !!

My buddy said he wants my Nav 430 when the new one comes in.

Can't wait. They said it should be available in a few weeks.

If the demand is going to be like the Nav 430, glad I got my order in early.

QualComm receivers can not double for Satelite TV receivers ... here's where you can find what you are looking for (in-motion) ... is the VuQube 30

YES.....INDEED, LET'S TRY IT AGAIN.....

You come in here and smooze a little but mostly insult a lot and interject your advertisements in your posts, thinking that no one was smart enough to put two and two together and see what you're doing?

You have the gall to talk down to everyone here but you'll take their money if they've the misfortune to click on your links and order your products?

I cannot tell you just how much I detest a liar and before you tell me that you didn't lie...that you merely didn't mention UP FRONT that you were behind that web site, I will say a lie of OMISSION is a lie none the less.

More than owing the membership here an apology, you owe Lawrence......you free-loaded off of his site while profiting from any sales that you may have generated from here.

I'd like to know what you have to say for yourself.

Yes, if we answer each and every post, it drives this one further down the list...hoping for less sets of eyes to see it. Piper, did you know that EACH AND EVERY post here goes on to the twitter page for EO.......and anyone from the trucking world that follows EO's tweets will get this thread and know what's taken place here.....hmm.....HERE

I'm going to add to this that it might not be each and every post that's added to twitter....I'll have to follow longer before I could swear to that......just sayin'.

Well, he did manage an :eek::cool: in one thread .... dunno if that means he's tri-lingual or what ....

One can only hope ..... if not, we can always find out what other 'net forums he lurks in, promoting his wares ... and then spend some time alerting and ed-u-ma-cating the unsuspecting victims ... errr, I mean unsuspecting members .... about his deceptive posting practices .... maybe the propects of an imminent downturn in sales will get him to knock off the crap ......

If he's smart (unlikely) he'll knock it off immediately - as he is only one ..... and we are many .....

Considering we have had an over 400% growth in sales (year to date) over ALL of last years sales ... your little attacks won't hurt too badly.

Its just sad to see that many here at this forum couldn't get their hands out of their pockets to help offset the costs involved for Hope Rivenburgh and Jason's Law to exhibit at the GATS show.

But don't worry, Jason's Law will be an exhibitor, not from your lack of help or the lack of help from the :censoredsign:s at OOIDA ... but from approx 19 folks that raised over $775.

After seeing all the back stabbing, sniping, and juvenile games here and at other venues attempting to damage an effort to do something good for once ... it turns my stomach to say that you pukes are part of the same industry that I and many other professional drivers belong to.

Good Night ..

Re: Dear Keeshond0622....

Actually, if you talk to other vendors who pay to advertise on here, we are quite a loyal supportive bunch! I gave my truck to a vendor at the show on Friday to use to demo a product he was selling......does that make me a puke? Had another vendor wave and give me a thumbs up when he passed me on the way home tonight.....we must be AWFUL for stuff like that to happen.

Re: Dear Keeshond0622....

Yeah ..... probably a wise move there Tommy-boy ..... with that one you wouldn't have only pizzed off the local denziens of EO .... but probably the sites owner as well ....... mighta been good for at least a temporary ban ..... if not permanent ....

As to the figures speaking for themselves ..... well: ..... yawn .......

I could post some other figures from whois.com that show a decidely different picture than the one you were trying to portray .....

Apparently you do get around .... I found this little exchange on another forum that you might remember (it took me all of about 3 minutes):

Question: "Does anyone else think this is strange? Are BlondieBlue and Guests the same person? I've noticed in other posts that they talk constantly about this truck stop web site... This seems to verge almost on forum spam. I got a random phone call from someone who was somehow affiliated with the truck stop site... said a lot of the same things that both these guys have said. Makes me wonder..."

Reply: "They're the same. TJ - the nut - called me too whining about some shopping cart.

He is definitely spamming the forums with applecart and truckstop junk, but I think most people can see right through it, it's not really informative or use full information.. It's just annoying."

Original Questioner: "Strange indeed. Why would anyone waste their time playing as two different people? After getting that phone call I had to unlink my SUN profile from our web site. Don't want any more strange calls from this guy!!"

And there's more I could post (lots more .... how's old Chaplain Bob these days anyways ?) .... but I'll keep my powder dry ..... for the moment at least ....

My guess is that you really probably don't want to be playing this game here ..... afterall, if you are indeed the owner of the mighty gotruckstop.com I'm sure you are pretty busy ..... and have much better and way more important things to do than coming here and insulting once-potential customers ......

Adios muchacho ....

Re: Dear Keeshond0622....

You guys are too nice to him.

I understand what he is doing, it is nothing new but if he is too cheap to buy advertising after he has been discovered, what good is he as a member - hint TJ, bring something to the table other than the BS lines for advertising your goods.

Now with that said, I am rather put off by the poor attitude TJ seems to have. He has tried to degrade us into giving when he has no legitimate right to ask for a dime, using words that usually provoke guilt with the uninformed. He is not representing anyone as far as I can see and if he is, then he is doing a poor job of it because he has turned off so many for what could have been a worthy cause.

I asked around and it seems that the plan has little to do with a legitimate campaign to raise awareness for a cause, at least to me, because there are going to be things for sale that can move this into what is considered a commercial venture to many in this business of charity. Irregardless of what the purpose of the sale of items, the legality of it matters to many, including the state of Texas and legitimate charities who struggle raising money for legitimate causes.

More so, Donations are handled with some sort of accountability, most use banks to cover their a**es and others use other charities. Seeing he has brought up the OOIDA, in a derogatory manner, I have to conclude that they also see the same flags as I do with this entire issue that TJ has brought to our feet. The OOIDA is in the same boat as I am, they know what it takes and how things really work.

As for the family, I will give them a benefit of a doubt, I have seen many times families turning a tragedy into money because of shear greed. If this is a legitimate cause, and it may be, then they would have some sort of representation, legal and otherwise who will prevent people from taking advantage of them.

Overall, I do not see the use of a 'donation' to move a family to a show to talk about legislation and if you gave money to TJ to provide a way to get there, then I suggest next time give it to a local charity.

Member Keeshond0622 is going on a vacation for awhile. I was going to remove this thread, but decided to leave it since DD did a great job of exposure.
No one here is impressed by a member coming on here and soliciting money for a travel trip. That is likely the same reason OOIDA aren't funding this vacation.
As to your sales games/efforts, no one is impressed with that either.
Enjoy the vacation.

i am not a mod on here either, but have been a member for a while. the coarsness of your posts only shows that you have truly been caught when you did not think you would be. most of the posters here keep very good track of whats been said before, so i guess the jig is up. so lets make the totally uncalled for response the last one. simply said, you are more than invited to post any rebuttle you would like, just keep it in proper form and professional or should i say respectful. no call for that type of direct insult here on the forums. and believe it or n ot if your posts dont get you banned we all can. calm down and be respectful. dd is usually on top of her game, i guess you know that now.
