jjoerger, do you mean that each load you did last month was 1866 mi on average, if so that is a pretty good average length of haul per load. even at two loads a week that is a 3700 mile average per week and i would like to think you all did more than two loads a week. guess the flat rate deal is providing more miles for you. great !!!!

We did 6 loads in 3 weeks. Got hung up in CA for 4 days.
Our average would have been 2222 per run, but we did an 85 mile run while we were in CA so that brought the average down to 1866.

Since being paid for all deadhead miles to the shipper, my DH has increased. I'm willing to go a little farther for most loads.

One can complain about too much deadhead or one can complain about their carrier having a truck on every corner. Just don't complain about both!

Very close. At least on fuel. Right now d.h. pay is at 19/mile, all miles. Fuel prices vary as does my mpg. Current cpm for fuel is running 20 to 21 cpm. On the majority of loads I run the f.s.c. covers most if not all of the fuel needed to run the load.
