Lawrence, I got it now. I thought that the log in thing would have been fixed because it is actually something that is a simple feature. The spell check thing is fixed when I kill Javascript and strip some of the code out of the page on this and the test machine, still Safari on Mac does not like to play well while the Windows version does.

I don't know why I have a beta. I have Firefox set to automatic updates. Every few days it requires a restart of the computer. This is the latest version I automatically received. I looked for a check for updates button but didn't find one. I guess for now I just stick with chrome to get to the forum.

Mine just auto updated to Firefox 10.0.2 from the 10.0.1 version and everything works for EO.....I don't know how 11 got on your computer

I do. He clicked on a "Download Firefox" button and either did or did not realize he was downloading a beta version. It could have happened several versions ago. Once you've got a beta version installed, the automatic updates will be updates to the beta versions, not the release versions. For example, if you now have Beta 11 installed, once that runs through beta and gets released, the next automatic update for you will be Beta 12, not an 11.0.1 update.

Yes, 11 works fine everywhere except on EO, at least so far. And I guess that yes, I must have unknowingly done something that set me onto a beta track. I just switched over to v.10 and it is working again with EO. I don't know the technical side of things but I do know 11 worked fine with the ebook and knife forums I visit every day so I wonder why it only failed with EO.

It sounds like a cache bug in the FF BETA browser. They'll fix it before they release it. It had nothing to with this site.

Ditto... Mine just updated to 10.0.2 and all is cool. A couple of days ago there was a glitch, I couldn't post. It kept telling me not enough characters. It hasn't happened since.
