Not to rain on the parade down there in Dayton but:
Anyone stuck in the Detroit area can also see a show.
Thunder over Michigan is going on this weekend and tickets look a bit pricey,,ya can do as I did this afternoon and pull into the rest area along I-94 (on the w/bound side) just east of the Rawsonville exit or get off at Rawsonville exit (x186 I think?) and swing right on the service rd and get a preety good veiw of the aircraft coming off the airport. Every jet I seen came right over the trucks @ the rest area.Ya wont see the runways but as they lift off the deck they where coming right overhead.
Good veiw and freeeeeeee..
