Dallas Mosquitoes

If you are planning to go to the truck show in Dallas be sure you take plenty of "OFF" repellent and a good quality flying insect spray for your sleeper. They are having a major problem with mosquitoes in the Dallas area this summer. They are using planes to spray the area but so far a number of people have died and many are sick from the West Nile Virus, spread by mosquitoes. We just came through the area recently and we were quick to close our sleeper doors when fueling and getting in/out of the sleeper.

Into the valley of the shadow of death rode the 600. Don't forget your fly swatter too, nothing like backup when ur raid can dies on ya and your breathing mask and eye protection and chemical suit and shoes and where will the wash down area be located and papers to sign saying you will not sue Texas for damages to your body......................lol. Your papers please.

dallas and tarrant county have the largest number of reported west nile cases. dallas county has the highest number of deaths from. That whole area has been rained on quite extensively over the last month or so. The cities have been dragging their heals on spraying, both on the ground and in the air. It wasn't till the county government took action that the cities started to approve ground and air spraying. Couple of the cities are still refusing to allow for either.
