Looks like I'm taking the bus to cheyenne to get a pair of new hubs for the truck! Thankfully my spindles were fine and it just needs the hubs for the steer axle.

After trying (and failing ) a similar "easy" preventative maintanance procedure in nowhere, Montana, my wife convinced me to wait on such things until I was back to civilization.

Well, hubs are installed. Stemco hub caps are installed. Were lubed with Mobil1 synthetic gear oil and... The abs light just popped on. Coincidence? I brought it back and they looked it over and told me all the sensors are in place and plugged in. I guess I'll head to Denver and let mhc find the new problem.
