Current freight lanes

A few threads lately have mentioned that some companies no longer have much auto freight, or at least not as much as before. if you are a van driver, are your freight lanes different now that auto freight is a smaller percentage of total freight? If different, what areas are you going to now? Can you name some frequent customers other than automotive, (at least the type of product, if not the actual name)? Thanks

I recommend no one answer this request. As a contractor part of your contract is confidentiality. Sorry for stopping your request, it is an unethical question at the least.

Glen, sorry you took my question as being unethical; I certainly didn't mean it that way and perhaps should clarify myself. I think most people in expediting knew that the auto related freight was out of the great lakes states, and not much west of the Mississippi. If auto freight has reduced, or been replaced, are drivers now going to and from other areas?? Further west? New England? Elsewhere?
And type of freight doesn't have to concern customers by names, just types of freight, i.e., plastics, fabrics, more hazmats, etc.
If anyone thinks I'm being inappropriate, of course they need not respond. Thanks

I think freight lanes have for the most part, stayed the same.
