I believe a E-450 has a gvw from 12,300 up tp 14,000 lb depending on the configuration...but even at the minimum, it requires logging, stopping at scales following DOT HOS.....etc etc...

I've got one for sale if you want a Ford with a liftgate. We used it regionally, but I'm liquidating some of my assets, as we aren't using it so much these days. E-450. It will haul 5K. :)

How many miles, what are you asking etc etc etc...

so for 16k dollars, one buys a used cube trk, gets 8 mpg, and if the tank holds 25 gallons, do the math,,,200 mile range, and gas is $2.80 a gallon, plus a trk payment. Hmmm,,,IMO, could be a disaster in the making in the expense ledger. Car fever always got me in a jam, at the moment,so would a cube trk payment.................lol

Cubes have at least 35 gallon. The one I still own has a 55 gal tank. Mine gets between 9.5 and 11. It just depends how you run. It also depends what kind of rate you're getting. They don't carry any more weight than a van, but they can carry volume. We don't move much automotive stuff, so it's usually not that heavy.

If a guy had a 10K GVW version (16 footer) and built a small 3 foot sleeper in it, I'm sure I could find a use for him, especially if he traveled light.
