Back in May I had an OOS inspection usualy I get looked at once or twice a year.
Now as time has it my good inspections came off and shows my vehicle as 100% OOS Shown ofcorse on page 1 driver inspections 0%.

Question. Will future Vehical inspections drop that rating or am I stuck with it?
Or dose the OOS value drop like the points systeme.

I'm confused [shut up!;)] where is your vehicle 'showing 100% OOS'?
CSA doesn't list inspections, only violations discovered during inspections.

All points assessed for violations are on your record for 3 years, but decrease by one third each year: a 3 point violation now will drop to 2 points in 1 year, then 1 point a year later, then gone the 3rd year.

Bob;

You are seeing the 100% Out of Service rate on SaferSys. It is very tough when you operate 1 vehicle, and have 1 inspection which shows "OOS". That means you do have a 100% OOS rate. Fear not, you can be proactive in fixing this issue. I would recommend that you actually seek out a couple of roadside inspections, rather than avoid scales. Since this was a Vehicle OOS you will need inspections where the inspector inspects the vehicle (not just the driver). Having and passing a Level 1 (Full) inspection will help in 2 ways - it will get your OOS rate lower, and you can legally use it as an 396 Annual Vehicle Inspection.

This OOS has most likely tarnished your personal PSP driver report if you were operating the vehicle at the time of the inspection.

Hope this helps you.

John covered it above......Bob was the one confused by getting his CSA / PSP Report mixed up with his Safestat / Saferweb record/standing.

John gave good advice Bob......seek out more inspections to get that 100% changed/lowered. Just make sure your vehicle IS inspection Ready as you go about it. If you get another OOS on your SafeStat record.....it's going to take twice as many inspections to get that 100% down, and could possibly have FMSCA put one of those Red Flag thingies on your page.

Yes, some legitimate shippers out there that keep up with, and know how to check, a Carriers / IOO's SafeStat record do take those records into consideration when hiring a true IOO to haul a load or 2 for them.

I'm aware that inspections are listed on a carrier's record, just didn't know the OP is a carrier.

Cherri... Yes I am a carrier my bad I didnt specify.

I had the impression that new inspections would bring the OOS rate down I just wanted to be sure.
I don't belive in dodging scales because you are begging for trouble. Get caught, and you have bigger problems.
I know of a couple inspection locations that are almost always set up so if I know Im in good shape I'll drive through and do the show and tell thing. Everyone can always use a CVSA level 1 attaboy sticker makes the job a little easier.
I did submit an appeal to Data Q waiting for results not expecting it to work out but,
at least I was able to have the safety violation ticket turned into a fix it tickett, no points and a fine of 105 bucks.

Thanks for the comeback..

Broken spring wasnt leaning or showing any problems was on the way to the shop but didnt have an actual appointment.
It was the parked for a week untill the cash hit the bank second round of pricy work. Just had the front end done king pins, tie rod ends, brakes, and steers. At least the officer worked with me and took me OOS at the spring shop less than a quarter mile down the street he could have made me call a wrecker.
