Cool truck scales

loaded up a full trailer of fresh beans in Washington D'other day.
loaded up to gross, only 2000p to play with .
was kind of scared to leave the shipper,but ...
well just look what they got for a scale !

That is a cool truck. That have tons of models there I've never even seen. We don't really have any hobby stores around here so I get most of my stuff at wal-mart. I bet some people would come up with some great builds of those trucks

Cool pics! That scale was probably common in its day but special now because it is unique. Interesting to see how such an object evokes warm feelings where a modern day digital scale is nothing special at all.

That's actually the most accurate kind of scale there is. You can't hurt one of them like an electronic scale.

Years ago I did a do it yourself move in the USAF. Had to get the U-Haul weighted before and after I loaded it. Carried it to a local house wholes good mover. They had a scale like this and they had a way they could give you weight print out by some kind of a mechanical pressure printer. Jerry Lee
