Use to go to cape canaveral as a kid way before the shuttles came online to watch the launches,,We had a uncle that worked down there so we had free pass every summer..
It really is something to watch a lift off.. Well worth the visit.

We always enjoy them up in Flagler out in the front yard. Turns the ocean orange for about five minutes. Even that far away. Then it just looks like a bright light bulb. Is something to see though.
