Cookout at the Expo

As the Expo gets near I was wanting to know if there is going to be a cookout after the Expo. We are willing bring down a Mayfield Express 53 foot reefer trailer to keep things in if there is a cookout.

The schedule that is with the advertising shows a cook out sat evening....not sure who is in charge and who i need to talk to about bring some food for the event...

We are willing to donate to the cause to feed some hunger Expediters. I will ask my wife to make up some Oile Burgers. Everyone likes them so much we planning to open a restaurant within the next few years called Jak and Olie's after our grandkids. They have a taste that is just as good as Swenson Hamburgers. If your are ever around Akron, Ohio and want to stop for a great burger stop at Swenson.

most of the time i believe they have the meat portion of the meal more than covered but dont quote me on that. side dishes and desserts are generally needed.

I hauled in 50 lbs of chicken kabobs last yr in a cooler full of ice that was tossed in someones reefer with a bunch of other food so yea Dave i am sure the reefer would be put to good use...not sure what I'll be bring down this yr, haven't given it much thought...BUT..I was looking at the "events" and maybe that ad "sheet" is just an update of last yr and some items were or weren't carried over by mistake...that happened last yr...

I'd have thought that Lawrence would have posted on here to verify that "yea" there isa cookout sat evening....I am sure someone with some "sway" will let the masses know for sure..especially OVM..

...he needs to know!!!

I was thinkin that last night...but it is shown on the events schedule...but as i said, that might just be a carry over from last yr and not a "for sure" thing...

We will no longer be attending the expo, we are not needed at the bbq any longer so we will be on vacation at that time!

What!?!? I am sure and pretty much know as a fact that John was NOT trying to step on anyones toes...John and I are personal friends and come from the same profession and have talked about cooking together on more then one occasion...The cooking at the BBQ has been your deal MANIAC and no one is trying to push you out...LOL, i even think that most of the equipment is yours, and I am not hauling anything down to cook on as i will be in service as soon as the show is over...my responce to John said "ANYTIME"...and that what it meant....yes id be more then happy to cook WITH JOHN AND YOU MANIAC....or i'd gladly step aside and leave things as they have been.....as i am sure John would....and beyond that, John went as far as to "Asked" if it was ok....nothing was "assumed"...

What? What? Did I miss something? (again)
I had sort of fallen into that position because I love to eat.
When I talked to Kristy earlier this year I told her that I'm totally willing to bring side dishes but am taking off my organizer cap.
Bruno, I know that your offer of the reefer trailer is going to be welcomed. Sharon and Gary Guthrie did reefer duty for us the last 2 years. Its great to see someone else stepping up.
