Hi,
I am independent contractor for one of the companies on this web and have a serious problem. i own minivan and my company had given me a driver clamming that he is great. It turned out that after two weeks the company had authorize transactions for fuel refills to the same driver without my knowledge and I ended up owing the company money.I also know that they do not pay me the rate according to the agreement. I asked for my drivers personal record as well s for my load confirmations but they refuse to give me any of that.
What should I do?

Get your van back first. Fire driver second. Find a different carrier.

A minivan? How do you keep your head above water with that vehicle anyway? I drive a Chevy full-size cargo, and it's tough sledding at times with that.
