I posted this in here because I was concerned that some may not find this has funny as it really is and might want to comment.

This guy got fed up with his daughter's garbage and took care of part of the problem. I can only imagine what this kid heard in school after this came out. I hope she feels like crawling into a deep, dark hole.

The only problem I saw was that this guys 'grouping' was not all that good. Then again, he was mad.

I have always wanted to 'kill' a computer. What fun that would be!



Facebook post causes man to shoot daughter’s computer


If you’re a teenager, you better be careful what you post on Facebook. That’s especially true if you have a father who works in IT. But there’s that one quirk about teenagers – no matter what common sense says, they think they know better. That is, until they’re taught a lesson they can never forget.

Apparently this dad thought a bullet might teach that lesson. Better yet, nine bullets. He shot his daughter’s

computer ​

after finding a disparaging message on her Facebook wall. ​

And he documented it all on video so he could post it on YouTube for all to see. And so far it has received nearly 2.9 million views. In the video, the angry dad reveals he saw a ‘hidden’ wall post on her daughter’s Facebook account while he was upgrading her computer. “Since you want to hide it from everyone, I’m going to share it with everybody,” the dad, Tommy Jordan, said. He then goes on to read her tirade about how she dislikes her chores and all the other stuff most teenagers have to deal with.Apparently this isn’t the first time she’s used Facebook to vent her frustrations with her life at home. “You don’t have that hard a life, but you’re about to. I warned you months ago about what would happen if you did something like this on Facebook again,” he continues. And then, the piece of resistance – he shoots his daughter’s laptop nine times. The video, as you would expect, has drawn reactions from both people who approve and disapprove. What do you think? Watch the video for yourself.

It sounds to me what the 'ingrate' of a kid needs is a good, old fashioned, butt whopping. It is likely that she was deprived of that part of 'love' when she was younger. If she were my kid she would be grounded for life, or longer! She would be allowed to go to her senior prom at age 65!

I saw that video a day ago or so,and thought to myself,"self why didn't you think of that"? If more parents put a stop to teenagers BS early on as Mr. Tom did, just maybe this world would be a better place.BTW he has used his new found fame to increase his charity works for the MDA by a ton.

Yea her parents are divorced, she has chores to do, but it didn't sound like too much...chances are she was cuddled , but dad seemed to be athe kind of guy that might have been "accomodating, but not a pushover....It also appears she is in for herworld to become "really restricted"...

Now, what do you want to bet, someone reports this to Child Services , and dad gets a visit....

OH, I DO remember, AND, I remember the result of actions of disrespect. I would have been 'peeling' my self off the wall for a week if I had done what she did! LOL!!

Yeah, I know, is was 'abused'. It was terrible. All that 'abuse' turned me into a respectful, hard working, responsible adult.

She would not get her drivers license until she was 30 either. Her grounding would end about the same time the sun burned out!

Maybe she should not have been idiot and posted that other stuff in the first place. IF an employer went looking they would have found HER post anyway. I would NEVER hire her after reading that post.

IF I had kids today they would NOT have their 'own' computer. There would be ONE computer, in plain sight, that they could use, under full parental supervision. NO Facebook or games. NO cell phones either. There would be chores.

Poor kid was crying she was to tired to do anything after 10 at night with her friends. NO 15 year old needs to be out at 10 with friends, other than MAYBE a VERY special occasion.

Facebook can be bad. Can lead to all kinds of things. It is a sad comment on our post 20th century age that a bullcrap like Facebook should become one of the United State's proudest achievements.

Facebook is a horror, really. All it does is encourage the worst of kindergarten and high school behavior, full of petty alliances, bullying and fleeting alliances based on shallow and unverifiable attributes of looks, perceived wealth and social standing. And that's from the adults. The teenagers are even worse. It is a Buddhist's worst nightmare, and confirmation that we do indeed live in the Age of the Sudra (if you believe that sort of thing). I have written off people who used to be interesting, and now spend all their time playing with imaginary farm animals and other truly moronic wastes of time.

There is no such thing as 'private' on the internet. A lesson learned at an early enough age for her to 'recover' from it. Many people can hack into Facebook if they want too even potential employers. Act a fool in a public forum and, sooner or later, it comes back to bite you.

Friends? On Facebook? That in it self is kind of funny. People on Facebook have hundreds of 'friends' that they have never met and do not know at all. That is NOT a friend. A 'friend' is someone you KNOW on a face to face basis and interact with in REAL life.

Human beings have evolved, or were made depending on your beliefs, to interact on a face to face basis. They depend on reading 'face and body' language. People on the internet are 'disembodied', not real. It is possible to meet up with internet people. Many in here have. I have. Some I 'liked' their online person I did not like in person, and the other way around.

Kids should be out in the real world, supervised, doing REAL things. Learning both their mental and physical limits. While it may be possible to learn your mental limits online, although I don't know if you really can, you can NEVER learn your physical limits, let alone push those limits.
