Can I have some input on phones and pagers, Phone can be used as a text message/phone. Any need to have a seperate text message pager. I have one left over from my last business, but cost is around $30.00 a month to hook back up. Phone plan covers 98% of Eastern U.S. How many minutes do most people sign up for, calling home is N/C. There is a charge for Text msgs not sure how the tier works, wana get input before I sign up for service.

Between cell phone and Qualcomm I can't see any reason to pay for a third communications device. Good luck to you.

concur with Leo. Even without QualComm, cell phone is a great pager replacement. Don't waste money there.

Some companys require the driver to have a cell phone and a pager, but if your cell phone has paging built in (which most do today) that is usually ok, but it would be best to ask the company that your signing on with first if that would meet their requirements.
