Colorado dope dispensaries preparing to accept food stamps

Congrats Amonger, you've just won the EO Moonbat of the Week Award:

snopes.com: Colorado Pot Shop Accepting Food Stamps - Taxpayer Funded Marijuana for Welfare Recipients

I'm sure that Leo is terribly jealous at this point ... but well done nevertheless ... he'll get over it.

Well, now, maybe it's true & maybe it isn't. If it isn't, I'll have a laugh at myself. But it's going to take more than a Snopes article to demonstrate that. I mean, a spoof website is one thing, but Snopes is one rung lower, credibility-wise, than a spoof site.

Don't know why you'd say that, since they've been proven time and time again to be quite credible. Do you have any examples that would make them not credible? Or is just saying that they have no credibility enough to make them incredible?

I have no doubt you can find articles there that are accurate, and probably most. But I don't catalog their stuff, so it's not like I've saved stuff in which their bias shows, yet I've seen them. This bias is widely-known.

Their bias is widely alleged. But it's never been proven. Many conservatives allege that Snopes is biased, and do so largely based on the fact that Snopes isn't biased in favor of conservative political issues. So far, not one of the charges of political bias against Snopes (Barbara andDavid Mikkelson)has been proven. When you take an actual look at their bias, you'll see their only bias is against unfounded rumor.

I thought this was going to be about the Colorado public schools when I read the title. It did read "Colorado "DOPE" Dispensaries".

It was once widely "known" that the Earth was flat and at the center of the universe too.

Either show some evidence of what you're claiming about snopes or be man enough to admit that you can't.

If you can read more than a few of their articles and not see it, it's because you don't want to see it.

It looks like it's shaping up to be more about the "DOPE Dispensaries" in the Land 'o Lincoln ...

Point to three of them that are biased. Just three will do.

That would require reading perhaps a few dozen. I'm trying to think of a reason to do that. It's like if you had a dispute over how painful self-castration would be and somebody says, "Yeah, go ahead and do it and you'll see!"
"And I said, 'No.'"

I don't see why all the opposition to this?.... we give morphine to our injured troops and get them hooked...we give them barbituates to ease the pain....marijuana is mild compared to those two....AND it will cut into the cartel drug trade....even better

and then there is the #1 and #2 LEGAL killers...alcohol and tobacco...

Hydroponic shops popping up all over...creating jobs and business opps for hard working Americans...the sales of their goods also creating jobs...

Unwilling to endure what must be endured to prove something I already know and is commonly known and isn't worth the cost of proving. Like listening to 73 rap albums to prove it's violent & misogynistic, it's not worth what it would cost.

Don't fall for that one. They will just expand their human traffic business, which is worse. Getting rid of prohibition did not get rid of, or even weaken, the Mafia. The removal of one potential product will NEVER stop a criminal.

never said it would get rid of them....not when they are heavily invested in the very job we do already....

It won't even slow them down, long term. Just a minor speed bump for them.

Again, and we both know I have to make this clear, I am NOT saying that it should be illegal. I am just saying that it will not hurt the cartels for long. They will expand other product lines that they are already involved in, like people. Besides, we will over tax pot and they will STILL have a ready market for tax free stuff.
