Coffee without a coffee pot

My wife recently discovered that Folgers makes a single serve coffee bag, much like a tea bag, that she can use with a cup of hot water from the microwave to get a cup of fresh brewed coffee.
They work really well, taste like fresh brewed and it is not instant coffee.
She likes it better than truck stop coffee.
No more coffee pot needed in the truck for us.

I have been trying to think of a safe method to heat and pour hot water through coffee grounds in a stationary system (not a heating pot or other plug in device) while traveling. I want to use the heat coming off the exhaust pipe or manifold to heat the water, perhaps running it through a wrap of copper tubing. I see pouring water into one end of the tube and it coming out the other end, perhaps from the pressure created via heating. I am stuck at the thinking about it phase. Anyone know of a system like I described.
Please note this is an after midnight posting so cut me some slack.

Dancorn, I too do some thinkin sometimes (scary) and have plumbed six copper tubes so they fit into my bunk heater box. My sink faucet now has a shot of hot fresh water, enough to wash hands or fill a cup or 2. I can see where the manifold would work, just make sure the water in the line doesn't freeze, my case the sleeper is insulated.

Can you imagine what life would be like out here if Rube Goldberg had been an expediter?

One word... Keurig. Fresh coffee at the push of a button, 190° water for soup, oatmeal if no k-cup is used. Fresh & hot every cup, can also do tea cocoa and hot cider.

Don't argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Tomorrow is just your future yesterday.....
