They are suffering from the same delusion that the driver's seat and dashboard are "sleeper". I'm sure it's 86" bbc so about 36" true sleeper. The largest possible coe sleeper is probably 60" absent a true custom.

Leo,
110" cab has a 70" sleeper. The 86" has 40" of space.

Not to be disagreeable but the seats etc. are presumably the same in each one so the difference between cab and sleeper would have to be the same as well. If the 110" has 70" sleeper leaving 40" for cab then the 86" would have 46" sleeper. Either that or the 110" has a 64" sleeper.

NP, the specs said 70" sleeper space, the drawings say 70" behind the seats. I assume you have an Argosy, so you are right.

I have no clue where they, Freightliner came up with a drawing of the cab layout that showed 40" from dash to back of the seats and 70" from seats to back of the cab - but that is what I have.

There will always be those that are stuck on driving the half fast truck/camper combo(read larger than needed sleeper) stead of a freight mover.

Greg, that'll be pics of a Farmall interior.

DD, No I wouldn't. I have one. As stated before, i'll NEVER own anymore trucks than I can drive at the same time myself.

There are those of you that should take a long look at it tho. Leo

So it is.

x06col, I know that you had an Argosy and I trust your info - what is the space behind the seats in a 110"?

Dunno to the precise inch. Don't matter much, all thats behind the seats is lots of storage, a closet, a place for TV, fridge, two large bunks. All I know there is way more room than I could ever use. Seats swivel, so you can use about a hunnerd of the hunnerd ten. The flat floor is what makes it so roomy, with two privacy curtains. One at the windshield, and one separating the driving/sleeping compartment. I always used the top bunk. Better ventelation in the summer, warmer in the winter, an a lot less lights glowing on you.

You can still get an Argosy but I think only in a glider. What I want to know is do they shaked rattle and fall apart like other FL's do? Do you have to stand back when the door is opened to keep from getting wacked by the stairs? What's the ride like?

I drove one two years ago with a air ride on the front suspension. I thought it rode smooth and as well as a conventional.
Just my opinion based on one drive. But I did take it over some rough road to see how it would do. Pretty good actually.
We use to have COE KW's and this rode smoother than those did.

Jeff... the one you're showing on ebay is WAYYYY overpriced! They want 18k for a truck with 950,000 on it. Normally, you'd pay a couple grand for that tractor. He'll never get close to what he wants for it.

Bombay, They are class 8 equipment, not fl70 class equipment. If the auto steps are an issue, just disable them. How do you spose ANYTHING with a 25ft plus wheelbase would ride?? Not to mention the quad airride.
