Nope, I realize who Mel Brooks is. As with Jerry Lewis and the Three Stooges, I have never been a fan of silly movies. Silly being used as an adjective, knot a critique.

Apollo 13 and Gravity.

Yes boys & girls, it's that time again..... Classic Movie Saturday! (Applause, whistle).

Today we will be devoting our viewing to the King of Cool.... Steve McQueen.
On the schedule today is ....
From 1963....The Great Escape, from 1966... The Sand Pebbles, and to start things off, from 1973 .... Papillon.

Let the coolness begin....:sunglasses:

You didn't mention McQueen in The Thomas Crown Affair tonight at 19:00 on TCM. Also, if you stretch weekend through Monday morning you've got The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Stagecoach, and The Long Voyage Home one after another starting at 09:15.

Sorry to disappoint, but we have decided to pospone Classic Movie Saturday until monday. Forecasted temps are in the 90's. Ragmama would be happy staying in A/C watching.

Don't forget Bullitt. Not much of a movie but certainly has one of the best car chase scenes. Front row viewing when I was a kid.

Bullitt is good but wasn't showing. TTCA was showing later that evening so I mentioned the time and channel for it.
