I agree with you 100%. Last year we had 70 D loads that we would have missed out on had we been a C unit. These loads were not always due to weight many were do to the size of the load. For us to be in Express we need all the help we can get to make ourselves available for every load offer.

Not all companies use C and D titles. Some actually look at the size of the freight compared to the size of the box. Some actually pay the same for "straight truck" freight, regardless if it is one tall skid or 11 skids. All depends on what you can carry. Most will agree that bigger is better.

For anyone who's interested, I'm introducing a new class of truck:
-shower and toilet with sensors to dump, while driving, when no other vehicles are around to notice
-automatic tire chains
-automatic hub spikes (for when JB falls asleep and drifts in your lane)
-360 deg cameras
-Patriot anti-deer defense system (locates and intercepts deer a half mile ahead, and notifies you of potential venison pickup)
-Tailgater oilslick and smokescreen package (optional upgrade to the "Artful Dodger" flaming oilslick extra)
-walk-in freezer
-microwave and pizza oven
-microwave gun to destroy the electronics of any annoying DOT cop following you
-radar/laser/radio jammer
-scale jammer (always shows you as empty)
-five rows of e-track
-Sirius or XM extra

I'm calling it the Q-unit, in recognition of the man who inspired it.
