Keep in mind, also, that "reasonable suspicion" is an invented legal principle intended to circumvent the constitution. What does the constitution say about searches? That they be done only with a warrant involving an oath and PROBABLE CAUSE. And I dont see any evidence, absent what the state has arrogated to itself, that the State can detain you while they try to get one.
A cop may be able to force his will on you, and a judge may uphold it, but the constitution calls it illegal. I guess we didn't recognize when the pigs started strutting about in the farmyard with whips in their hooves (pigs being an Animal Farm reference, not a perjorative for the police, though it's interesting how they intersect in this case).
