Sounds like a Canuckian. Moncton is a relatively popular name up there.

I looked him up on Wikipedia. Actually after reading about him I was surprised you hadn't heard of the guy TH, he sounds like someone you may possibly agree with.
I also went to Politifact and surprise, surprise there he was, with a "britches on fire" rating. Pretty interesting read though.
I'm curious what the soapbox participants think of him.

I'm not in the "We're all gonna die" mode right now. Just trying to concentrate on ME, and getting the biz done; so I can be better prepared to flee the country when all he11 breaks loose.

He was referenced 2 weeks ago here after his speechs on barry going to Copenhagan for the climate change B/S...and way back when Doug wanted to tell everyone how Science is all in agreement that global warming is here...do a search......and for what it is worth, his view points on global warming are closer to the truth then the chances of al gore and his buddies will ever admit their being wrong.....And for his take on barry signing our countries sovereignty away...well the key is that even if signed by barry (and no one knows if the treaty will be ready by copenhagen) we as a country aren't bound by it until it is passed by Congress....barry as already siad he will seek that passage and if he didn't get it, he would run it through a "committee" and make it law by adding it in pieces to other bills......So who knows...but with barry the chances of him giving our country over to UN rule, is NOT out of reach at all....

Do you have the source where you saw that he would do this?
You really think if Obama truly wanted to give up our sovereignty as the President of the United States he would be able to that?

yeap i meant the senate, by bad...yea i have a the source, i'll dig it out..... and yes with the control he has in the senate and congress right now, any treaty that he signs with the UN and the senate ratifies will be a move to chip away at our sovereignty...pelosy and reid are no different then barry...statiest.....and yes barry wants to be the messiah and the leader of the world!!! but then i am pretty sure you don't think any country is working towards a "one world government".....especially the US.....

As you dig into the info you'll find the following Wall Street Journal article by Janet Albrechtsen which contains some very interesting reporting. Quoting from the article (emphasis mine):
"The "scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention" that starts on page 18 contains the provision for a "government." The aim is to give a new as yet unnamed U.N. body the power to directly intervene in the financial, economic, tax and environmental affairs of all the nations that sign the Copenhagen treaty.
The reason for the power grab is clear enough: Clause after complicated clause of the draft treaty requires developed countries to pay an "adaptation debt" to developing countries to supposedly support climate change mitigation. Clause 33 on page 39 says that "by 2020 the scale of financial flows to support adaptation in developing countries must be [at least $67 billion] or [in the range of $70 billion to $140 billion per year]."
And how will developed countries be slugged to provide for this financial flow to the developing world? The draft text sets out various alternatives, including option seven on page 135, which provides for "a [global] levy of 2 per cent on international financial market [monetary] transactions to Annex I Parties." Annex 1 countries are industrialized countries, which include among others the U.S., Australia, Britain and Canada."

With all the distractions of Obama's health care mess, Afghanistan, Iran, etc. it's a good thing that someone is keeping an eye on the impending disaster that could develop in Copenhagen. Fortunately for us, even if Barack Hussein Obama were to agree to this nonsense it would never get ratified by 2/3 of the Senate. The American public needs to be alert to the intentions of this radical liberal they elected president and make sure he and his administration czars aren't making destructive deals behind closed doors.

Lord Monckton was a policy adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. He explains science so clearly it would make Carl Sagan proud. Al Gore's alarmism doesn't hold up well when brought into focus by Lord Monckton's realism.

Climate change is happening all the time....weather patterns change in time....
so in essence Climate change exists...but there is very little we as humans can do about it...Mother Nature works her own way..
