Christmas Decorations

One of the hard things for me was not being at home at this time of year to decorate. To Bob's dismay I have started decorating the truck with some help from him. We have crossed candy canes on the grill with a wreath. In the truck I have few stuffed Christmas creatures on the dash. A bonging moose on the wing window. On the bed I have a Christmas quilt my mother in law and I made and of course a few Christmas pillows. I also have a nice set of lights to put up on the windshield but still to this date we have been running at night so have not been able to put those up. I know that Bob especially dislikes the lights in the front windshield so this has not bother him a bit.

Does anyone else out there decorate a little for the holidays?

Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love seeing what the other truckers are doing with their trucks. We put a small wreath over the top of the fridge and I found some little lights (battery operated) and put them in the wreath. I put two tiny (very tiny) red stockings over the microwave and we put some red star tinsel around the top bunk (which we use for storage). It isn't home but it does look festive. I love the big red bows and the wreaths I see on the front of trucks. india

Since the moose is in a commercial vehicle, wouldn't he be subject to random testing? Also, how often is the moose using? I would be concerned about being in such a small enclosed area with him lighting up all the time.

The truck and us are perfectly safe from our bonging Moose! Some of you have twisted the meaning of the word bonging! The true meaning which is a lot more boring then what you have came up with is: A deep ringing sound, as of a bell. So we are not having nearly as much fun and living in such danger as you think we are.

Here's our dog helping decorate at Grandma's and the Christmas tree we have on the dash of our truck that lights up at night. We both miss decorating, too.
