too bad cops/politicians don't do thier jobs....since most is drug and gang related...outlaw gangs...sit on the gangs and bust them again and again...every time they make a move...even J walking bust them so they can't move....break them up....just keep at it till we take back the streets...

in a city with about 4 million people a whole 26 shootings....amazing what a good policing policy can do towards gangs...in a handgunless society.... you need better policing!

The article I linked is about the homicide rate in Chicago this year. No statistics were given about weapons used. One would have to read about each individual victim to ascertain the cause of death. No statistics were given about gang affiliation or race. Again one would have to read about each individual victim and the circumstances involving the homicide.

Click on some randomly chosen victims and it isn't much of a stretch to conclude that most of these homicides are gang related and a firearm was involved. Most of the gangs in Chicago are made up of minorities with African Americans the most prominent. Cracking down and breaking up gangs would be discriminatory towards minorities. Please remember that black lives matter but only when ended by white law enforcement officers.

I guess Canadians are not so concerned about the rights of seeing a certain colour first....we see crime as crime first,.... colour/race second...
any gathering of 3 or more persons is considered a gang and subject to search and subsequent dispersal, at the discretion of the police....the wearing of gang colours into Canada is banned...and that includes the good gangs so as not to be prejudice

The gangs already have guns so new gun laws are a complete waste of time. The only way to clean that town up is to put African American cops with body cameras on virtually every street corner. If that isn't enough, add their National Guard. They will cease to exist as gangs if they can't exist as gangs. It is about the only way in our current PC culture.

That's exactly it there in a nutshell ... Enforce enforce enforce and give police the tools to do so... It'll take many years to correct the policing mistakes of the past but not impossible...

Because of the power struggle internally with most gangs, few could last three months with intense military scrutiny. They likely would divide or leave. History already tells us that. Don't think you would have to do executions. Shut the income stream down, and the delights of gang life slowly disappear.

That's what this thread is about, public executions. Don't try to make more of the link in the original post than it is. Then read it! Click on each name and read! Read it all again, then draw your conclusions and toss out your opinions and comments.
