LOS.... The Soviet Union never made direct war on the United States. They threatened us. They pounded shoes on a podium. They moved nuclear missiles to Cuba. They sought to undermine us in many ways. Yet, the USSR never made war on the US. Proxy wars, yes. Direct war, no.
