Its like Jimmy Buffet says changes in latitude, changes in attitude
If your Attitude Sucks everyone around you will know it, Owners, drivers, dispatchers, shippers and it is not helping any of us.
Maybe for some it time for a change if you’re not happy, find something that will make you happy and go do it.
I have been in and around trucking, construction, and manufacturing all of my working life.
The company I work for the longest was a large construction Company in Florida. When I started I told the owner that I would work for him as long as it was fun and if it was not I would be on my way. Well it was 24 years latter that the owner and I both said its been a lot of work and fun but we both need to move on, he truned to company over to his sons and I went to work for a company in Italy.

When it stopped being fun we parted ways and NOW you see me back driving truck.
We each made our own bed and we each have to lay in it. Not one of us had a gun put to us to drive a truck or work for an owner or a carrier.
Look in the mirror next time you are near one and see the person that makes the choices for your life and ask that person what to do.
So stop your complaining and move on its life be happy

I have watched people who have a bad attitude and it seems like bad things happen to them over and over again. It is just a vicious circle and they also seem to take everything that happens personal instead of shrugging a lot of it off.

Bad things do happen to everyone the difference is in how you handle it.

We have always had a lot of fun in what we have done over our lives but this has to be the most fun we have ever had to date. There is no doubt in my mind there are many more fun things to try in our future.

Amen Brother,

Life is far too short to walk around with a frown. Take it from me. I did that for far too long in the past. It sucks to feel like that all the time. I promise you it won't ever happen again. Enjoy your life. Do what you want. There are as many ways to earn a living, yes even today, as there are people on the earth. There is ALWAYS something that people want or need. It is up to you to learn what that is and find a way to provide it. THAT is the challenge of life. That is the FUN!! Grab on with both hands and go for it!! Even if you fail you will enjoy the game. Amen! I second the motion! Great post about attitude! Can we keep going on in this direction on this site?
Love what you do and embrace life....we only have a certain amount of time here on earth so enjoy!
