I drive an 18 at Tri-State and have gotten loads for my self on the same basis as Fedx. It works well and the trips all pay better than your new rate. On T-S loads they still pay $1.53+ .16 or more (so far)FSC. I like being my own travel agent, seeing new places. Getting home to Dallas when I want to go, and with a load.

S18wheeler, once you are percentage your contract will stay that way, unless, you elect to go to the flat-rate program. You will not be allowed to go back to percentage although. Accessorial charges will apply on top of that ie. stop pay, unloading, etc.. Those charges though are not a whole lot of revenue once their percentage is out.
