(CCF) On October 5, 2011 the Court authorized disbursement of available settlement funds to more than 10 million people who submitted claims. Last week I got a check for $18.04. I had forgotten that I joined this class action lawsuit.
I don't know how the Court arrived at the $18.04 amount I received. Was the total pot, minus lawyer fees divided by 10 million or is the $18.04 based on what I was personally gouged for by my credit card bank on my spending in foreign countries? I used my credit card mostly for fuel purchases in Canada.
