Not as rude as I anticipated it might be. Not Red Skelton funny but not as bad as many who think they are comedians.

Carlin could certainly be rude, and profane, but he could never be mistaken for a fool, and I adored him.

I wish he would have narrated Thomas the Tank Engine the same way he did his comedy routines. LOL!

Maybe I should have said vulgar and/or lacking humor, both of which apply significantly to many of today's failures considered comedians.

Great point. Many of today's comics think if they cuss every 30 seconds that they are funny.

When Carlin cussed, he did so tastefully.
