Cargo Van or Sprinter?

Well I have to judge that when I have heavy skids. If they are to heavy I will have them unload it from out side with a forklift. If its something I can pull as in light weight sure I will use the ramps if the dock plate does not lower enough for me. I try and not use them if I can help it. For one they are a pain in the butt to gauge the right position to reach the dock without over shooting it or under shooting the dock. If I over shoot it im only half way up the ramps which I have to readjust. If I under shoot it im off by a few inches for actually reaching the dock. I have a 2 inch beam between my box and chassis so I am a little higher than most cubes.

I get 18 mpg. If the winds real bad and I am loaded and in the mountains it might dip down to about 16 mpg. I know other guys with the normal van bodies that are getting 23-25 mpg. I imagine if I was to get a wind delfector for the box I might gain a few mpg. I am looking into that now. Matter afact I might be giving Supreme the makers of my box a call tomorrow and try and price one out.

You might want to look at www.nosecone.com also. I just found it today. Some of the site is under construction but you can tell enough about them to get an idea as well as getting the number to call them if interested.
