Excellent!!! Never been better. Thats why I quit 2 yrs ago in this buisness cause several recruiters and drivers said you could make a decent living out here.

NOT!!!!

Two years ago you could make decent money doing this, allot of guys were. Today it is much tougher.

Got an 800- miler yesterday.Too early to tell for me.What a big adjustment from a s/t. But more enjoyable. And a lot less hassle, but alot less room.

Last few weeks have been crazy....go, go, go....

I think for us the new fleet info, a pick up of business and less vans has really helped....but I fear it may only be a bleep and give some false hope...on the short term...and I pray recruiters don't go crazy just because things have picked up abit....

What can someone expect to make driving a van for someone else ? It's tough enough for van O/O's . The revenue isn't there for both a driver and owner to get a reasonable profit

So how many laid off GM'ers are going to be hopping into cargo vans, only to find that their Michigan/Ohio van freight disappeared with their plant closing?

Cargo Van Freight...........I thought they just must have passed a Law that you cant use Cargo Van and Freight in the same text............and put it under things that used to be in the U.S.A........ You know like MADE in the U.S.A
