Hello all, I'm thinking about getting back into the Expediting business. Just wondering if there are any companys out there that doesn't force you to take Canada loads? I worked for Tri-State, and they said you had to take them to work for them. Not going back there for sure. Just looking right now. Thanks ...Butch:)

What Size unit do you drive? I drive a "B" unit and lease to Premium Transportation Logistics. They don't force you to run any where you don't want to.

Canada is optional with many of the expedite carriers. They will however recommend that you take loads in and out of Canada to increase your revenue potential. There have been many drivers at places I have ran at that can't go into Canada. Running with All-State, only about 1 out of every 20 of my loads involves Canada, and these are usually loads out of Toronto area to get me moving from home in Buffalo.

Thanks for the Info guys. I'm going to be running a B-unit. I did a whole lot better in a van as a solo driver, than I ever did in a D-unit. The Overhead in a D-unit will kill a solo driver for sure. Been there Done That. LOL. Drive Safely...Butch
