I think it was Phil who mentioned a while back that they sometimes stay in state campgrounds over a weekend. Has anyone else had experience with this? Phil, if you are the one, would you respond to this post also? It seems like a great option when we have a weekend free. The campgrounds usually have nice showers and laundry facilities plus the advantages of "camping" away from home. How wonderful to sit around a campfire at night on a cool Autumn weekend! Here is my question: we are not able to plug our sleeper into shore power (except just the fridge)so that means our generator will be coming on every once in a while to keep the batteries charged. Is the generator running an issue in a campground? I realize some campgrounds have rules that are different from others but overall, can you camp for a weekend and use the generator without a problem? Thanks!! india
