Can you get one of these after jumping thru some hoops? The truck we are in is a 2008 Prostar converted to a straight truck. I have seen other ProStars with this decal and I'm just curious if can get it thru some process.
I thought these stickers were only available through the OEM. Might want to check with International to see if your particular truck/engine combination qualifies.
Also try googling california clean idle and look at the official information. There does appear to be a way to get the engine tagged, but just because there is a procedure doesn't mean you can get approval. It's probably something like drilling for oil in the gulf.
I was looking at new trucks with my service manager last year when I was having a pm done. I asked him about the sticker and if I can get one for ny 2008. He said no, it has to be factory certified to get the sticker. 08s didn't qualify even tho they have DPR on them. The sticker is put on at the factory.
