Geesh then in 2013 OH Boy all the trucks that will not be able to go neither. A few weeks back had to cover a load for a team in a 2003 Volvo that pulled a load from the East Coast to the West Coast. CA wouldnt let it in the port. Truck had to be a 2006 with clean Air approval. Hmm
Did it. The Port in CA required us to also had to have a transponder put on the our truck to tack us. Now go figure yupper more money for that too. ( Clean air new Regs, Twic Cards, Transponders ect.) It costs to update Equipment quals and so forth. That being said the Price of Freight should go up. Fuel has risen again I see. Hmm So has the Price of a Hamburger and FF. Showers at the J are now even higher. The only thing that has not is the price of freight. On another note yesterday a person told me they had paid 9 bucks for a pack of Cigs. Hmm I shake my head.
Well hopefully somebody will stand up for the Truck Drivers and OOPS so all out here in this boat can make a liven.
