Im pretty sure they are all tested and offered the vaccine when they are in custody. Im willing to bet that most of them have had Covid anyway.

You like to blame everything on the left wing nut jobs but the one thing that is going to cause a lot of conservatives to die you have not figured out is being started by the left. I guarantee all this anti vaccine and ivermectin garbage was started by people on the left who thought the more conservatives we can convince not to get the shot the more will die and the better off they will be.

Despite being an skeptical conservative who makes the world worse for everyone, let me suggest that anyone who bothers to read this sappy sob story click on the sources listed in the above quote by this author, then consider the possibility that it may be mostly fiction. Covid-19 is not currently the 3rd leading cause of death in the US - the source stats were from 2019. The current increase in covid related visits are misrepresented as well, still less than 1% of all admissions. Covid isn't even on the radar any more. But the article makes mask-wearing liberals in 2023 feel good about themselves.
Even with covid death rate now about the same as lightning strikes, Biden is pushing for a new annual vaccine, keeping Big Pharma happy during an election year.
Big pharma does not want to make anything that prevents infection, they want to create treatments, especially ones that you will need to take for the rest of your life.
The only reason they make vaccines is because the government forces them to make them.
That's right; it's all about profits.
That's wrong; the reason they make vaccines is all about profits - Billion$ of dollar$ worth of profit$. When the govt helps them with mandates after their lobbyists grease a few palms, it's even better. Big Pharma, their CEOs and shareholders get richer.

Dont forget all those billions in profit that they made off the Covid vaccine were paid for by we the taxpayers. If Trump (and Biden later) had not ordered so many doses ($30 each) they would have had no financial reason to manufacture the vaccine. And by the way im not saying that was a bad thing, just wanted to make the point that corporations have to turn a profit before they will do anything.
Lets see how much they make off the next updated vaccine variant, since the taxpayers are not paying for it, it will cost more for those of us who will get it, and there will be less profits for the drug companies. I would wager this will be the last vaccine variant that is produced, not enough profit in it.
Yes it does, way fewer people are dying of the virus, the stats show that most of the people who are dying of the virus have not been vaccinated or have other health issues.
If you are talking about absolute prevention of getting sick, yes you are right, people still do catch Covid after getting the vaccine, but since their immune system got a heads up, its is better equipped to handle it.
