C-Link ?

when being contacted for a run via C-link and u are not in the vehicle to respond to the offer will they try to get u on your cell hone as well?I cant imagine they expect you to be in your vehicle at all times....do they?

Some depends on the company. Panther uses qc as a default but you can have it set to out of truck on cell and they will call. E1 always calls first. I would sure think all companies have a cell option would not make sense not to.

I always set avail on clink to no. I get an sms on my phone if one slips by to the clink but that's rare. It takes too long to get the key back on and let it boot up and then wait on the satellite to resend the offer. With only 10 minutes available, I don't want to lose 3-4 of them to getting the clink working again. By saying no to clink, I get the phone call and have the full 10 minutes to make my decision.

No, they do not expect you to be in your vehicle at all times. When Diane or I are in the truck, we stay on C-Link. When we are away, we send in a message (code 08) that takes us off C-Link. When a truck is off C-Link, load offers are sent to contractors by telephone.
