You should look for a 1 ton extended van at the very least
I don't think the 2500 is a 1 ton?
Depends on what your going to do with it. Myself you need a 3500 or a 10k/gvw. At a minimum an Extended 3500.
Myself no more c/vans just a max or similiar. To me if you can't get 3 pallets or more in it with doors at least 55 or better tall and carry 3500-4000 pds your missing freight.
But like I said that's me. Depends on where your located, who or what your carrying. Need more info.
I should say, if your looking at getting into expediting.....A 2500 is a fine van otherwise
Im sorry im new; I was just asking questions before i made a big mistake. I am located in Florida. Thank you for the info.Depends on what your going to do with it. Myself you need a 3500 or a 10k/gvw. At a minimum an Extended 3500.

Same here with 380k 4.8l. I don't feel I've missed on not having a one ton, especially factoring in fuel savings and cheaper maintenance on a 3/4 ton (parts costs)
Yuuup. 4.8 here to... been a darn good van....just replaced the original water pump @ 401,000 not that it was bad...but how much longer is.it gonna go....

Question is how many loads do you miss out on having the 3/4 ton and not the 1 ton?
Same for meI've carried up to 3k although most van and even sprinter loads just aren't very heavy.
