Bush`s last speech

If "w" was to resign today...this sould be his last speech...

Normally, I start these
things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it
this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know
who more than half of you are anymore. I do know
something terrible has happened, and that you're really
not fellow Americans any longer.

I'll cut right
to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in
a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to
avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you:
There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses
in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is
simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because
you have no understanding of what's really going on in
the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great
nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned
lazy to do your homework and figure it out.

Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of
goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that
the majority of you think the economy is in the tank.
And that's despite record numbers of homeowners,
including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. And
while we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that
minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our
unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the
Clinton administration. I've mentioned all those things
before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

Despite the shock to our economy
o f 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels
and more Americans than ever are participating in these
markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas
prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize
that gas prices are high because there's increased
demand in other parts of the world, and because a small
handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar
bears and beach front property than your economic
security.

We face real threats in the world.
Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were
trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's
oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell.
And don't give me this 'Bush Lied; People Died' crap
either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I
could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so
they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the
fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest
of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me.
Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was
official US policy before I came into office. Some guy
named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you
didn't know that, did you?

You idiots need to
understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the
cold war, there were two major competing political and
economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we
did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to
survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend
and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time.
The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they
survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as
long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of
you with them as they can. But they are. They want to
kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten
any more of us here in the United States since September
11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea
how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law
enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to
make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I
warned you that this would be a long and difficult
fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a
long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of
'Survivor.'

Instead, you've grown impatient.
You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens
of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars
should last a few months, a few years,
tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support
those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New
York Times, every time you send a donation to a
cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang
it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a
Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy
enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It
just isn't on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC
News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter.
Most of you would rather watch American Idol.

I
could say more about your expectations that the
government will always be there to bail you out, even if
you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level
and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your
insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is
where the money comes from. But I've come to the
conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right
over your heads.

So I quit. I'm going back to
Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there
(Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be
fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford
before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here
pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe
I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last
pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's
quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President.
You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because
I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just
enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn
this thing around in 2008.

So that's it. God
bless what's left of America .
Some of you know what
I mean.
The rest of you, kiss
off.

He should give the speech even if he didn't resign. It might teach a few people a few truths.

I guess it takes idiots to follow an idiot, bush embarrasses this country every time he opens his mouth.

Silverdollar, the following was written on a left wing blog, don't take it personal.

I guess it goes the other way too, I see many follow some only because of their promises, they follow them even though the person has done nothing in there career or life that indicates any form of leadership or even have the ability to lead.

All I hear is change coming from people.

What change?

What makes them think there will be any change?

Why should I believe in change and become a jack booted follower?

I see change in the country that I thought I would never see.

I see the stupidity of people claiming we have the second coming of JFK in the democrat party.

I see the ignorance of money and the need to want instead of need to need has blinded people to the point of stupidity.

I see only embarrassment that we endure in this country is the poor excuses we have made to the rest of the world not being involved in our political system.

If you are so embarrassed with the president, then do something about it. He has violated the constitution by NOT defending our country against an invasion form the south. IT is that simple - he should be impeached for this and this alone. Get your minions moving, get some more of Soro's money and get moving on it.

Otherwise don't complain.

The Rainmaker has arrived, we are saved, Thank God.

I could point out that the only dumb garbage is coming from the mouths of Obamily and I could say that the only idiots are those who refuse to see the truth in the ungiven speech and the fallacies of Hilama's second coming status but that wouldn't be nice so I'll just say it's a great speech that Hilama and the rest of the Obamily followers need to actually hear as in understand.

Leo, I thought that Ron Paul supports were nasty, but Obama supporters are realy nasty bunch of people.

I just left a walmart here in Georgia and glad to get the h*ll out of there. As I stood in line waiting to pay for my Chinese stuff, the lady behind me and the one behind her got into an argument about Obama. One said he is worthless when he was working in Illinois and the other one called her racist because she was saying something bad about a black man "who was going to save the country". Well that was all the first lady needed, she called the other a bunch of names I thought were reserved for Navy personal, and it led to a screaming match then they decided to let the last one standing to show who is right. It went on from there with security being called to try to divide them up but what could two 95 year old men who could barely walk do with two 300lb women getting into it throwing fist and pulling hair? Then the threats started while I was on my way out and the cops (three cars) were arriving when I was leaving out of the lot.

I am getting nervous because if I vote against Obama, will I have the thought police picking me up to be reprogrammed?

I'm not sure I like where this whole thing is headed. If one speaks out against Obama, will he be accused of being racist?? When push comes to shove in the general election and both parties are going at each other........will you be labeled racist if you disagree with the Dems?? As much as we don't like to admit it, racism is alive and well in this country and when it gets fueled by the likes of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, anything can happen.

I really have a hard time with all this. My folks taught me people are people and good/bad has nothing to do with appearance and everything to do with actions. When I was about 10 I watched my dad do surgery on a black man. His insides looked exactly the same as the insides of the white guy did. I already knew they did because my dad told me so and I knew he was truthful with me but I still got to see for myself.

Racism is a problem in this country and it's definitely alive. One major problem is the ones who foment racism are the "leaders" of the race that complains about racism.

greg334

Veteran Expediter
Well I can't comment much because I will go too much off topic but it is not racism, but bigotry that drives many.

Sorry Leo, I didn't need to see the insides of someone to see that we are created the same. Many only want to be different to become victims and won't understand the program that Rev King wanted for all of us to live by.

DD, yes the thought police or really I should say agent smith. We already see the politically correct gone haywire in the UK in their school systems, so I would expect this to happen here soon if a dem gets into office.

You're right Greg, the non-violent ways of making change that Rev King tried to implement have fallen by the wayside.

I'd love it if Bush made a speech like that!

That is some good stuff to honor the worst president in my lifetime. What a dork he is. His corrupt government to which the Repubs see no wrong should have been impeached long ago for their wrong doings. But no, the dumb as*ess up there will build him a library to his greatness. What a screwed up country.

I'm not a political guru, but lets call it like it happened. Going to war with Iraq was voted on based on the information at that time. Hillary, Edwards and other dems voted for this action. Somehow that seems to get overlooked. They came to the same conclusion Bush did looking at the same information.
I don't think GW is the perfect president as we have had much worse.

Multiple nations came to the same conclusion, not just multiple prominent democrats. That's conveniently forgotten or ignored as well as the original WTC attack, the Cole, and numerous other truths and events that aren't beneficial to Bush hatred. The faux speech is full of truths but they're painful so better ignored and attacked.
