its very simple,you need a list of your fixed costs,and your variable costs.if you sit home for 30 days,you still have to pay your fixed costs,the variables will be illiminated.so ,there fore don't sit home for 30 days.
if you go to a truck stop,and ask 100 drivers about their spread sheets,they would probably tell you they are white,or they use a sleeping bag.
Irs,many ways to be a truck driver and pay them less.there are so many expenses you can write off,it's scarry.And remember,you can write of 80% of 58 bucks a day for every day you are logged away from home,eating,and if you are careful,thats is also the 1/2 day getting home or leaving home.This is without receipts,just need logs to verify.Van drivers,not sure how you would prove your gone with no logs,think you better keep your food receipts.
